Jutson 75: In keeping with our concept this boat has been designed in accordance with the owners requirements and all components selected by the owner.
CISL Marine was commissioned by an owner to upgrade from his twenty year old 53ft Hatteras Cruiser to a modern and efficient custom power Multihull.
Extensive discussions were held between the owner, Scott Jutson the designer, and CISL marine the builder, to enable a design that was exactly suited to the clients needs. Consideration was given to every aspect including items such as the services and product support available in the dominant cruising area.
This new commission is a 75ft power catamaran. Twin 800HP engines with a maximum
speed of 24 knots power her displacement hull form. The comfortable interior
comprises of six double cabins with ensuite bathrooms; a huge spacious main
salon; fully appointed galley and a very big enclosed flybridge.
Discussions included the weather conditions in the Caribbean resulting in a huge covered aft deck for outdoor entertaining with the added bonus of an extended aft flybridge deck and a spa-pool on the foredeck. Even with all these luxuries the overall weight of the vessel is 56,000 kg which was achieved through the extensive use of lightweight foam-cored panels. Use of materials such as Divinycell XPVC foam and Vectorply E-Glass Knits and Hydrex vinyl ester resin have been incorporated.
Extensive use of a CNC router tied directly to the designer’s computer files
were used in many areas of both the construction and the interior.
Boat Systems Inc of Palm City FL have done her electrical engineering; she features two 32kw generators for AC power.
Her climate control system was designed by Nau-T-Kol Trinidad Ltd and features a Cruisair tempered Water system for the lower cabins and the Main deck with a Cruisair DX system for the flybridge.
The interior is custom designed by the owner appointed interior decorator and features a dining table for twelve and two interior lounging areas. A bar is set off of the fully appointed galley that can also directly serve the cockpit lounge.
There are both interior and exterior steps leading up to the huge fully enclosed flybridge.
